Each mission develops its own personality and rhythm, but one feature always remains the same. Skillfully managed chaos is what greets us the first day of every mission. People waiting inside; lines of people waiting outside…but all with smiles on their faces and thankfulness in their eyes.
This is the fifth time the Hospital Militar has hosted our efforts. It’s sorta like coming home. The doctors and nurses are so accommodating. The ORs are ready for us to set up. Drawers and beds are cleaned out and ready for our linens in PACU. Tables and chairs were ready in the pre-op space. IT registration was ready to roll.
Angie and Joselin are our little angels. Wide smiles, joy, and bundles of love all wrapped up into two amazing little girls. They’ve grown so much and have so many hugs ad kisses to share. You just can’t resist.
