This September, I have the incredible opportunity to serve on the first-ever Hand surgery mission trip to Ecuador through Blancas House. Alongside my medical assistant, Jessica Foster, we will provide specialized hand and upper extremity care through patient evaluations and surgeries at no cost to those in need. Many patients in Ecuador live with treatable injuries and conditions that limit their ability to work, care for their families, and perform everyday tasks simply because they lack access to specialized surgical care.
