Hi everyone,

This summer I’m doing something pretty amazing — I’m volunteering with Blanca’s House, a surgical mission that provides hand surgery to people who really need it but can’t afford it. This will be my first time doing something like this and honestly I’m a little nervous but mostly just really excited. As a sophomore at Xavier High School, I wanted to do something more this summer than just hang out, and I think this is about as meaningful as it gets. I’ll be on the ground supporting a team of surgeons and medical professionals who give their time to change people’s lives — and I get to be a small part of that. Any amount you can donate goes toward supplies, equipment, and making the whole mission happen.
