Thanksgiving Dinner

Much more than a dinner… It is a day of community warmth and sharing. It is a day our community comes together to share respect and support for each other. Blanca’s House needs volunteers to set-up, serve, and clean up after the event. Additionally, Blanca‘s House sponsors a coat drive and canned food drive. Volunteers are need to solicit, collect, and distribute donations.

Adopt-A-Family

Please help Blanca’s House ease the burden of struggling families in our Long Island community. Volunteers assist in identifying families in need and solicit donations of clothing, toys, gift cards, and other items as needed by the families.

Assisting in our storage facility
Blanca’s House receives donations at our storage facility in East Setauket throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to unpack, organize, and inventory donations. Prior to a medical mission, bins, boxes and duffle bags need to be packed with the medical supplies and equipment essential for the success of the mission.

Assist with fundraising activities
Blanca’s House sponsors fundraising events throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to solicit and/or provide donations for raffles, auctions, and events, as well as assemble gift baskets. Individuals and local businesses are invited to donate monetarily or furnish in-kind donations to support our healthcare efforts.
