Dear family and friends,
I’m so excited to share with you that I’ve been selected to join Blanca’s House on their next medical mission to Ecuador as a junior volunteer! As I get ready to apply to college (yes, that time is coming soon!), I am really interested in pursuing a career in medicine and Blanca’s House is giving me this unique opportunity to not only experience medicine first-hand but also an unforgettable chance to work with those who are less fortunate than we are. The work that Blanca’s House is doing in countries like Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic and Honduras is amazing and to be a part this team who is changing the lives of the people they touch is just as important to me as the treatments they deliver. There is more to medicine than just science and I know this experience is definitely going to be life-changing for me.
Here’s how I need your help. All Blanca’s House volunteers pay for their trips on their own. That’s why I am asking you to help support this mission and help me offset the cost of my expenses.
